It is a good slip for sail and motor boats.The slip is well situated between the Isabelle Holmes bridge and the 70 ton travel lift. Haul out, if needed, is easy and unique among most Wilmington area marinas. Distance from the yard creates a very quiet environment. The water is brine but not salty which limits barnacle and sea growth. This is also a great hurricane hole marina. The slip is one of the few slips that allows the captain and mate to access three sides of the boat for cleaning, boarding, general deck and house work from the main walk, head walk and finger dock.Large returnable carts are at the top of the down ramps for use by CFMA owners.
