Cathy Reed

Born and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, I fell in love with the beauty of North Carolina as an undergraduate student at UNCW. Moving on to N.C. State to complete my masters in chemistry, I became very familiar with the Triangle area and with all the diversity it has to offer. I accepted an offer from my professor right out of grad school to work in his start-up lab, which proved to be challenging and important work. Realizing I thrived on the positive energy of helping others, I eventually transitioned into the sales profession and found my passion in meeting and working closely with a wide variety of people. I knew for certain my goal was to remain in the Triangle and established my roots here by purchasing my first home at the age of 25. I delighted in the process of searching for the perfect place to call my own and with guidance from a knowledgeable realtor, quickly made good on that goal. Five short years later, I sold that home for a profit, found and renovated a condo, and relocated to downtown Raleigh. Both experiences propelled me to my career in real estate- the perfect melding of my sales experience, genuine pleasure in working closely with people, and my satisfaction in searching for and finding the perfect property. I bring the same enthusiasm I had for my own property ventures into my real estate career and I look forward to helping you sell your existing home or finding you a perfect property to call your own.
